Celebrating Motherhood: Recap of the 2024 Mini Event

The Motherhood Mini event for 2024 has come to a close. What a successful event it was! Nestled in the cozy loft of The Seed, located in downtown Manistique. This year’s event was a celebration of motherhood in its purest form. Hosted by Bristol and Jim, the gracious owners of The Seed. The event spanned two days and welcomed both familiar faces and newcomers alike.

Simple yet elegant Motherhood backdrop

The ambiance of the event was a blend of simplicity and elegance, with floral arrangements adorning the space and a stunning flower screen. Which was borrowed from my grandmother serving as a picturesque backdrop. As families entered the space, they were instantly in an atmosphere of warmth and love. This set the stage for capturing beautiful moments that would be cherished for years to come.

Many families captured during Motherhood Event

Throughout the event, a total of 15 families had the opportunity to participate, each session lasting up to 15 minutes. While some families included parents, grandparents, and children, others opted for a more intimate setting with just mom and the kids. Regardless of the configuration, the focus remained on celebrating the unique bond between mother and child—a bond that is often underrepresented in family photos but is undeniably precious.

Brief but meaningful Motherhood Event

Mini-sessions may seem brief, but for those who have experienced them before, they know that a lot can be captured in a short amount of time. With an average of 40 images returned per session, including both color and black-and-white shots, families are able to relive and preserve their special moments in stunning detail. Additionally, the inclusion of unlimited high-resolution and web-size downloads ensured that these memories could be shared and treasured for generations to come.

Plans for more mini-session events

Looking ahead, I have exciting plans to offer additional mini-session events throughout 2024. Planning with sessions scheduled for the summer, fall, and Christmas seasons.
